Rojas is set to begin a rehab assignment on Tuesday. It is expected to be short, and he should be back with the Dodgers in a few days.
Hayden Birdsong (SP - SF)
Birdsong was officially recalled from AAA on Tuesday, lining him up to start on Tuesday night. Spencer Bivens was sent back to AA.

Anthony Gose (RP - CLE)
Former outfielder turned pitcher, Gose was recalled from AAA on Tuesday. Xzavion Curry was DFA’d.
Gabriel Moreno (C - ARI)
We speculated that Moreno would head to the IL after leaving Monday’s game with a groin injury, and on Tuesday, the DBacks placed Moreno on the IL. He’ll be out a couple of weeks, but likely more. The DBacks promoted Adrian Del Castillo from AAA. Del Castillo dominated the PCL this year, hitting .319 with 36 doubles, 24 home runs, 86 runs, and 70 RBI. If Del Castillo gets regular playing time, he could become a nice fantasy option down the stretch.
Eduardo Rodriguez (SP - ARI)
ERod was activated from the IL on Tuesday to make the start for the DBacks. It’s odd that ERod did not need a rehab start after being on the IL for so long. Bryce Jarvis was transferred to the 60-day IL to make room for ERod on the 40-man roster.
Bowden Francis (SP - TOR)
Francis will make the start for the Jays on Wednesday.
Ha-Seong Kim (2B,SS - SD)
Kim was scratched from Tuesday’s lineup as he’s dealing with right triceps soreness. He has struggled for the past month, and Kim is considered day-to-day.

Dezenzo was promoted to the Astros from AAA, and Trey Cabbage was sent back to AAA. At AAA, Dezenzo hit .306 with six home runs and five stolen bases. Dezenzo started at DH on Tuesday night.
Tyler Mahle (SP - TEX)
Mahle was activated from the 60-day IL to make his season debut on Tuesday. Walter Pennington was sent back to AAA, while Andrew Knizner was DFA’d to make room for Mahle on the 40-man roster.
Joe Musgrove (SP - SD)
The Padres say there’s a strong chance Musgrove will return to the starting rotation this weekend against the Marlins. It’ll be Musgrove’s first start since late May, and he made a rehab start on Sunday that was apparently good enough for the Padres.
Wilmer Flores (1B,3B - SF)
Flores had surgery on his knee, and it was more than expected. As a result, Flores will miss the rest of the season.
Kerry Carpenter (OF - DET)
Carpenter is set to begin a rehab assignment on Tuesday. He’s been out with a back injury, and Carpenter is expected to need at least a week of rehab games before returning.
Byron Buxton (OF - MIN)
Buxton was out of Tuesday’s lineup for the second straight game. He’s dealing with bumps and bruises from colliding with the outfield wall on Sunday.
Starling Marte (OF - NYM)
Marte will start a minor league rehab assignment on Wednesday. He’s been sidelined with a knee injury since late June. The hope is Marte will return in a week or so.
Grayson Rodriguez (SP - BAL)
Rodriguez was scratched from his start on Tuesday. After further testing, Rodriguez was diagnosed with a lat/teres discomfort. He had a similar injury last year that kept him out for three months. We’ll await on further testing before assuming the worst.
Mason Miller (RP - OAK)
Miller has been out with a broken finger on his non-throwing hand. It’s healed up, and he’s ready to go. He’ll return from the IL on Wednesday.
Taijuan Walker (SP - PHI)
Walker was supposed to make a rehab start on Tuesday, but it was rained out. He will likely make a start on Wednesday, but that is not for sure yet. This will likely prevent Walker from returning to the Phillies this weekend.
