Fernando Tatis Jr. (OF - SD)
Tatis has reported to the team complex in Arizona. He should start facing live pitching soon and hopes to rejoin the Padres in mid-September.
Ha-Seong Kim (SS,3B - SD)
Kim will rejoin the Padres in St. Louis and hopefully get activated from the IL this weekend when he’s first eligible to return from his injured shoulder.
Nick Lodolo (SP - CIN)
Lodolo was placed on the IL with a left middle finger strain. Early reports suggest Lodolo is missing a lot of time, potentially the rest of the season. Casey Legumina was recalled from AAA. Jakob Junis made the spot start on Tuesday.
Stuart Fairchild (OF - CIN)
Fairchild was placed on the IL with a left thumb sprain. Rece Hinds was recalled from AAA. Hinds was hitting .179 with a home run and eight steals since returning to AAA on July 30.
Robbie Ray (SP - SF)
Ray was placed on the IL with a hamstring strain and no timetable for a return. Landen Roupp was recalled from AAA.
Jordan Hicks (RP - SF)
Hicks was placed on the IL with right shoulder inflammation. Austin Warren was promoted from AAA.
Lucas Sims (RP - BOS)
Sims was placed on the IL with a right lat strain. Greg Weissert was recalled from AAA.
Rich Hill (SP - BOS)
Hill was recalled from AAA to add depth to the Red Sox rotation. Brad Keller was DFA’d.
Luis Garcia (RP - BOS)
Garcia was placed on the IL with right elbow inflammation. Josh Winckowski was recalled from AAA.
Jared Jones (SP - PIT)
As reported yesterday, Jones was activated from the IL on Tuesday. Brady Feigl was DFA’d.
Carmen Mlodzinski (RP - PIT)
Mlodzinski was activated from the IL. Ji Hwan Bae was sent back to AAA.
Jason Heyward (OF - HOU)
After being released by the Dodgers, Heyward has signed a major league contract with the Astros. He’ll be another outfielder to fill in for the injured Kyle Tucker. Chas McCormick was sent to AAA.
Jack Leiter (SP - TEX)
Leiter will make the start for the Ranges on Wednesday.
Yoan Moncada (3B - CWS)/Mike Soroka (SP - CWS)
Moncada and Soroka will begin their rehab assignments at AAA on Tuesday. Moncada’s previous rehab was shut down at the end of July due to soreness, but he’s good to go and could rejoin the White Sox in a week or so. Soroka will need a few rehab starts before rejoining the team.
Prelander Berroa (RP - CWS)
Berroa was recalled from AAA, while Bryan Ramos returned to AAA. John Brebbia was DFA’d.
Jacob Wilson (SS - OAK)
Wilson was officially activated from the IL on Tuesday, while Darell Hernaiz was sent back to AAA.. Abraham Toro was DFA’d, while Armando Alvarez was also recalled from AAA.
Julian Merryweather (RP - CHC)
Merryweather was placed on the IL with right knee tendinitis. Keegan Thompson was recalled from AAA.
Daniel Palencia (RP - CHC)
Palencia was recalled from AAA, while Jack Neely returned to AAA.
Matt Moore (RP - LAA)
Moore was placed on the IL on Tuesday. Ryan Miller was recalled from AAA and will make his MLB debut when he’s called on from the Angels bullpen.
Nick Mears (RP - MIL)
Mears was placed on the IL with right forearm inflammation. Aaron Ashby was recalled from AAA.
Anthony Gose (RP - CLE)
Gose was recalled from AAA, while Logan Allen returned to AAA.
Caleb Boushley (RP - MIN)
Boushley was promoted from AAA, while Trevor Richards was DFA’d.
Riley O’Brien (RP - STL)
O’Brien was promoted from AAA, while Shawn Armstrong was DFA’d. Armstrong's removal from the team comes as a major surprise.
Michael Lorenzen (SP - KC)
Lorenzen left Tuesday’s start with a left hamstring strain. He will undergo further testing to determine whether a potential IL stint or not.
Nick Anderson (RP - BAL)
The Dodgers released Anderson, and he will sign a contract with the Orioles.
